Candidates also investigate engineering controls and safe working practices.
Unit 4 – Taking Proactive Measures
The importance of taking a proactive approach to health and safety in the workplace represents the primary focus of Unit 4. Essential teachings include the identification of groups at risk, factoring health and safety into the hiring process, addressing workers with personal problems and brief discussions of both immigrant workers and adult learning.
Unit 5 – Preparing and Implementing a Safety Plan.
