Unit 4 – Taking Proactive Measures

Essential teachings include the identification of groups at risk, factoring health and safety into the hiring process, addressing workers with personal problems and brief discussions of both immigrant workers and adult learning.

Unit 5 – Preparing and Implementing a Safety Plan.

In the final course unit, candidates are provided with an in-depth introduction to the preparation and implementation of professional workplace health and safety plans.  Course content covers the various key elements of a safety plan, how to write and implement the plan, appropriate responses to incidents in the workplace, incident investigation techniques and how to review workplace safety programs.
